MonaVie has had one of the biggest launches ever in the history of MLM, mostly because of a distributor named Brig Hart. He is in fact the top earner of MonaVie.

Basically, what Brig Hart did was that he joined MonaVie whilst bringing with him his entire Amway organisation with him (which at the time was called Quixtar), numerically speaking, a team of several hundred thousand people.

This resulted in MonaVie becoming larger than many MLM companies that have been around for 10 years or more in just the first year operating. The company has been able to sustain growth over five years, making it to the top 1% of the most productive MLM companies.

So what has helped in sustaining this growth?

MonaVie has an effective training system, a powerful compensation plan, great products and leadership. They are widely known to have excellent customer services by shipping products quickly, paying on time and resolving any arising complaints almost immediately. Moreover, the company in itself is completely debt free.

One of the most interesting fact about MonaVie is that you can actually see how much people are earning whilst running their MonaVie business. There are about 40 people earning in excess of $1,000,000 per year with MonaVie, whilst on average, a company has about 2 to 10 earning that amount.

The downside to this fact is that the average MonaVie marketer, actually more than 60,000 people, are earning about $39 per week or less.

Let’s evaluate the most successful top earner in MonaVie, Brig Hart. When he joined MonaVie, he was already considered to be a leader, at the time working with Amway. Thus, when he joined MonaVie, his followers joined through him too. Why? Because he was their leader.

So…

You joined SFI for free with hope that you will earn big money…

Time goes on…

You sponsor people into your downline through your continuous effort on advertising. You spend a lot of time online promoting SFI through all means you can. Then you eagerly wait for the 10th of the month, log into your commissions report, only to find out you’ve made USD0.22 for the previous month!

Every time I’m surfing the internet I see tons of ads about weight loss products, people asking for help in losing weight, and lots others who ask directly about information on protein shakes. So I decided to write an article targeting weight loss problems and protein shakes information.

In order to understand what protein shakes are all about, we first have to dig a bit into the science of protein shakes.

What is whey? Whey is the liquid component of milk that is separated from the solid curd component in the cheese-making process. Whey protein is actually not a single protein but a collection of proteins and protein fractions found naturally in whey components of milk. Whey protein promotes weight loss in three ways:

1. Protein, in general, reduces hunger and eating more carbohydrates and fats. Whey protein does this even better than any other protein;

2. Whey protein reduces fat storage compared to carbs, fats and other proteins;

3. Whey protein enhances fat-burning effects caused by exercise.

Let’s take a closer look at these three weight control benefits of whey protein, and what they do to help you lose weight.

1. In order to lose excess body fat, it is essential that you limit your daily calorie intake. However, this is usually easier said than done. Permanent weight loss can only be achieved if the lower calorie intake is maintained long term, in a way that it doesn’t cause persistant hunger. Switching to a high protein reduced calorie diet is one way to attain this balance. By increasing the number of calories you get from protein and at the same time reduce the total number of calories consumed per day, you can avoid hunger, thus it will be easier for you to stick to your diet on long term.

In a recent study carried out by the University of Washington School of Medicine, 19 subjects were fed each of three different diets sequentially. The authors of the study reported that when subjects switched from the low protein weight maintenance diet to the high protein weight maintenance diet, they all started to feel fuller despite consuming the same number of calories. In addition to this, it was noted that during the unrestricted high protein diet phase, subjects reduced calorie intake voluntarily by around 400 calories less per day, lost almost 11 lbs, including an average of more than 8 lbs of body fat. Research also showed that whey protein is the most hunger-reducer of all types of protein.

So, why is whey protein more filling? Certain forms of whey protein contain high levels of a peptide called glycomacropeptide (GMP), which is known as a powerful satiety nutrient (hunger quencher). It stimulates cholecystokinin (CCK), which is a hunger controller hormone, to be released. Studies show that GMP from whey increased CCK release by 415 percent, whilst reducing the number of consumed calories by 20 percent compared to a placebo, when it is consumed before the meal. Whey protein was also found to reduce hunger by lowering circulating levels of the hunger hormone called ghrelin. In a recent Australian study it was found that a whey protein drink produced a prolonged suppression of ghrelin compared to glucose and fructose beverages. Whey also activates opioid receptors in the gut, thus causing fullness. Specific peptides contained in whey bind to these opioid receptors, which in return, communicate with the human brain to produce that pleasant feeling of fullness, helping to stop over-eating.

2. Research shows that whey protein blocks fat storage, thus promoting body fat loss. Whey is a dairy protein, and a number of recent studies have shown that increased dairy intake is beneficial to the body composition. Scientists are to this day still trying to figure out how dairy products boost fat loss in dieters, but they believe that calcium plays a vital role. Calcium is known to be crucial in fat metabolism and appears to reduce fat storage and increase fat burning when it is consumed adequately (roughly 1,200mg per day) during calorie restriction dieting. However, calcium is definitely not the only one responsible here. At least half of the fat storage-reducing effects of dairy products is attributed to branched chain amino acids (namely leucine) and a protein fraction known as ACE inhibiting peptide.

If you’re reading this article you probably are either looking for more information on Tupperware before joining, or else you are in the Tupperware business and are looking for the best way to make a solid income from it. The Company

Publicly traded as NYSE (TUP), this company has reported ending the year 2008 with total sales amounting to $2.2 billion. Initially the company was founded in 1946 by Earl Tupper, who invented food storage containers made of polyethylene. The Products

Through the Tupperware Brand, the company provides food preparation products, storage and serving products. In addition, it also sells personal care and beauty products under another seven different brands.

Compensation Plan

This is not clearly shown on the company’s website, however, through information gathered from various marketing brochures and websites, it shows that to start as a Tupperware consultant you need to purchase a Business Kit for $79.99 or an Executive Business Kit for $119.99. You are also required to make personal sales of $250 within the first four months of joining.

A consultant’s commission is calculated at 25% of retail sales, with an additional bonus of 5% if monthly sales reach $1,200, or 10% if sales reach $3,200.

When you reach Manager or Director level, you get additional commissions called ‘royalties’ on all sales volume of your team.

In order to reach Manager level, you need to have three active recruits, $500 personal monthly sales volume and $2,000 in group sales volume. At Director level you get Director Development Bonus and commissions on the sales volume in your team. In order to be eligible you must have nine personal recruits and $10,000 sales volume in your team.

The number of personal recruits for the month determine team commission range, which is 4% to 8% in the case of Manager level, and 6% to 12% for Director level.

Training

Training is provided by Executive Directors. Training includes traditional marketing strategies, such as home parties, sales and recruiting training, online catalogue parties, bridal parties and fund raising.

Can You Really Be a Successful Tupperware Representative?

As we’ve seen above, Tupperware provides a wide range of products which carry the Tupperware brand. Products are also considered to be reasonably priced as well.

However…

Tupperware are competing against a lot of other companies offering similar products. This means that direct selling may seem easy at first, but in fact is tough. Organising parties and similar events may create results, yes, but doing so requires huge time consumption and expenses.
